Bait Al Zubair was the fantastic venue of the solo contemporary art exhibition "Oman in my soul" by the Italian artist Lucia Oliva last March 2017.

Bait al Zubair is a prestigious and highly appreciated museum. In 2017 the prestigious magazine Traveller reviewed it among the most prominent museums in the Middle East and chose one of Lucia's works (The veiled glance) to illustrate the article.

The exhibition consisted of 11 artworks in the 3 halls of the museum, with the central one entirely dedicated to the most prestigious artwork, titled "Oman", dedicated to H.M. Sultan Qaboos.

The Italian Ambassador Giovanni Visetti inaugurated the event with the Guest of Honour H.H. Sayyida Aliya bint Thuwaini Al Said. On the Opening night the artist offered the audience a romantic opera music performance in typical period costumes of the 19th century.

The event got a big media report by local newspapers such as Muscat Daily, Oman Daily Observer and Times of Oman. Twitter by the Embassy of Italy in Oman.
