A powerful volcanic rock from the tiny pedestrian island of Alicudi in Italy, found on the beach, naturally carved by the waves in thousands and thousands of years... "hiding" a mother holding a baby, whom the artist saw and unveiled with wise touches of gold and colour, highlighting its beautiful natural shape.
